Serpent's Skull in Eberron
Hot Heads, Cold Words
Zol, the 10th of Aryth
The battle versus the Sorcerer and his pet undead Troll is over and the group has to deal with the aftermath. As the undead Troll rots where it lay, the group ties and gags the unconscious Sorcerer and begins to discuss what to do with him. All agree with interrogation but Kreshton councils killing the man. Before he can, Pol asks him to stop and they tie the Sorcerer to a tree and administer some healing to wake him. Both Pol and Kreshton attempt to intimidate him with little success but are able to determine that he is a grave robber himself and he had just raided Amghawe’s Tomb (an ancient warrior king). Dadak begins to dismantle the sorcerer’s spellbook and burn the pages in the fire as incentive to get the man to start talking. Pol changes tactics and begins to promise the sorcerer freedom and his gear to get some more information and finds out that ahead is a creature or several creatures called Eloko. Ja’Redd suggests they kill the sorcerer and Pol steps back to meditate on what to do. A short time later, Kreshton steps forward and slits the sorcerer’s throat. Upon returning from his meditation, Pol is disturbed to find the outcome and has a short conversation with Kreshton.
The group distributes the treasure and continues on into the jungle towards Tazion.
